The best way to trash your nerves but to learn something about playing "the winning" endgames is to play such endgames against the engine. And then (unless you are NM/FM or stronger) you will soon find out how terrible you are in playing the endgames.I used to checkmate relatively easily with Bishop and the Knight. Till I played it against the engine. I realized I had to start to learn that all over again from the beginning. Naroditsky gives a good lesson about that. Also try to play King and Queen vs King and Rook endgame, no pawns, against the engine. Good luck if you are not really a very strong player. Thanks Joza for teaching us, chess dummies, the endgames. Very instructive shorts.
