  1. I saw the Knight to a2 move but I didn’t notice it was a checkmate…

And after 4:34 if black doesn't play the B2 move we take the pawn With the bishop bx b3 then the black has to move the king to B2 to attack the knight and also protect the pawn and then king to C2 protects the knight and also attacks the Pawn. So we take it with the bishop or the king and that is a knight + bishop endgame which is a guaranteed win within 32 moves if you know the algorithm to this ending.

  3. I always love analyzing these with Stockfish to see what it comes up with as the actual win based on best play, and they're always far more fascinating than the intended solution. In an example of top play, white DOES have to capture both pawns, without losing either piece obviously and it takes a while, but of course the longer part of winning is actually checkmating black with bishop and knight.. 41 moves 🥵
