I like how the video is called "Magnus Carlsen's Greatest Endgame" and it is undeniably a spectacular performance, but if you check the engine lines around 15:38 after Kc1 you'll realize that the engine gives like -5 in black's favor and that Magnus actually BLUNDERED a draw in the next few moves (specifically after playing Kd4 instead of Kxb4). Engines are absolutely crazy man

It's kinda hard to see how Magnus isn't the GOAT at this point. Some of these games are just utterly absurd. Nobody's ever done this stuff in endgames, at least not this consistently at such a high level.

In wildfires you can fight fire with fire using a backfire to stop the wildfire from spreading but the origin is military
you can actually fight fire with fire, while fire is spreading, you do a controlled burn of bushes ahead of it, so once it arrives, there's nothing to burn, and it stops.

Wildland FF here. We utilize drip torches and other various burning equipment to create what we call back burns. Essentially removing unburned fuel between the main body of fire and the homes we're trying to protect. Your videos gave me many hours of entertainment while camping out in the woods. Cheers
