  1. Thank you for your videos. Currently under 400. Just won a game against a player rated close to 75 points higher using what I have learned from your videos. Thanks!

  2. He explains everything so well that I feel like I can do it, but no, not really!!!

  3. Yoga dad is going to turn out to be internet comment etiquette at some point…

  4. Even after just watching the first match I started playing 5 minute games and I’m now 400 elo when I was hard stuck at 200 I hope to improve even more as I have watched the other games too

  5. 28:00 Excuse me! I am rated 560 and I would still use my queen to take that. I am not afraid to use the queen. (And maybe that's why i keep loseing it for no damn reason XD)

  6. The 500 elo he plays with just did horrible, but when they play against me they do 75+ accuracy moves

  7. Learning chess for competition bcz I can't play very well in physical games
And senior foced us to take participation

  8. it's always those pieces from far away that come back to screw each other over

  9. 51:30 didnt the black rook miss out on a check mate here? rook to h1, or am I wrong?

  10. Can't thank you enough! I work crazy shifts and can't spare time for an in person coach. The fact this is free is so kind of you. Thank you for helping me play better!

  11. Starting my chess Journey!! Woot woot!!🎉

  12. Great video. I will try to improve. I'm stuck around 600. I don't look far enough ahead. Like one move would be a start.

  13. I swear these guys are sandbagged. When I play 400-500 players I can honestly comfortably win even while doing a ware-opening with a double bong cloud on top.

  14. Yogadad really played so well, keep doing yoga while playing chess sir.

  15. I love the way he's pretending as a new player in lower elo.

  16. There is no way that first guy is a 200, that last queen move before being checkmated is a move that would ALWAYS win games at his level because similar players would just cap the rook greedily, missing the queen-rook mate completely.

  17. You are the most pragmatic, down to earth instructor I have seen in my 65 years of stealing oxygen from the air! Masterful teaching!

  18. does anyone know how he does the arrow thingy

  19. I feel so sorry for the guy who missed that bishop move. Must've kicked himself so hard

  20. 56:11 the rook can be defended if you sacrifice the knight on the diaganol and after check you block with ur bishop then the queen defends the rook

  21. if you had a smoke in your mouth i would have thought you were Jonny in The 9th gate movie

  22. I thought i was intermediate at 530 elo… 😅

  23. Dude I've been watching your videos none stop an a friend of mine is also teaching me, Can't wait until one day we can play 😅 Love it

  24. This series is nothing short of impeccable – had me hooked E V E R Y SECOND! W Levy!🔥🔥

  25. Gotham is the only 2400 who hangs mate and misses a free bishop against a 500

  26. When Levy plays 5 minutes midgame: explains every kind of strategy and moves you can do each time, talks with viewers, does some example of other games, proceed to win the match
When i play 5 minutes midgame: start thinking about the consequence of moving a piece after move 10, keep thinking, watch timer, 30 seconds are missing, start doing completly random moves

  27. Your videos are great but could you also make videos where you play as black? I've noticed i literally copy the way you open as white but when I'm playing as black, it's just a huge mess. Anyone got any tips? I'm around 600 elo, started chess a month ago.

  28. seems people are very bad at 500-1000 rating, its like bronze in league of legends.

  29. Wow this was amazing to watch and very much helpful and alot of tips especially when it's relatable to my games that I blunder, make mistakes or miss opportunities like this. This video taught me alot and like gave me a nice hint on what to do in tough situation like that in chess. 10/10❤❤Love ur videos gothamchess

  30. This isn't just natural ability. It takes years of practice at guess the elo to learn to think like a beginner.

  31. 200…. 200?!?!? Bruh he’s better than me

  32. When you think you played a relatively clean game but you get hit with “4 mistakes, 2 blunders, 1 missed win” at the end 😂

  33. Hey thanks, great series. Thought 1hr might be long but i really enjoyed 😊

  34. Love this learning so much thank you how do I get started to get a number on me to play chess

  35. Bro because pf this i went from 300 rating to 600. Now ill watch the next video. You are the best teacher of chess gothamchess!

  36. This is a great series. I am only 800 but I am doing chess puzzles and learning openings. Little tips like trying to get a rook behind a pawn when trying to promote it is the stuff I need to know and use.

  37. Halfway trough the video I paused and decided to try to use what you thought me so far in a game and it honestly felt like I was playing against a reta- … a very stupid person

  38. I'm not bad at chess, how ever, I've never won my father at chess.
And it's understandable when you know he won couple of national tournaments when he was young.
I've decided to improve my chess by watching your content as
You and your viewers can follow the weakly pross in comments as a score board 😂
I try to be committed 😝🤘🏻🤦🏼🎉😅🍀😎🌌

  39. This is amazing 👏 🎉 I'm the world's worst beginner i love the game but i am useless . This helps so much . Thank you so much. I love it

  40. Great series. I’ve learned an immense amount from this video. Thank you

  41. “Which is a dad, who does yoga… which is a shocking thing” 😂😂😂
