  12. I actually saw the two-move mate played in the US Junior championship in 1982. One player didn't feel well and said he wanted to forfeit his last match and go home. Someone told him that if he did that he would forfeit his appearance fee. So he played 1. g5 d5 2. f5 Qh4#, got up, shook hands with his opponent and left town.
